SCENARIO: The
planet of Carina IV, on the frontier of Segmentum Ultima, is a world
beset on all sides. Its governor, suspected of being under xenos
influence for some time now, has openly declared against the
Emperor. Fully half of the Planetary Defence Force has sided with
him, and sightings of Chaos and alien forces are rampant. The Ordo
Malleus has organized a punitive expedition with forces available in
the area, but a shadow in the warp has prevented communication with
the planet. What will the imperial forces find when they arrive?
Bring your imperial or alien force and decide the fate of
Carina IV. We will play at least two 500 point combat patrol games,
followed by 1000 point 2v2 team games. The campaign will continue
in February!
There
will be an Annual General Meeting on the 7th of March. At 6:30PM
Please bring to the meeting any issues you may wish to discuss. If
you want to post them in the upcoming agenda please contact this
e-mail address. It is vital that you attend as a new directorship
will be elected and we need your say.
For those who
have not renewed their memberships it will be 10 dollars.
Non-membership fees will be kicking in for those who will not have
renewed their memberships. Just a heads up.
Also, Salute is approaching fast (March
12-14th) and I am looking forward to our members to help out by
contributing to our gaming schedule. Our success at Salute will
rest on the diversity and number of games that we can field. We
share a rich and varied base of interests and games that will
attract people to our convention if we can put them on.
We have many Friday night and Sunday slots (especially last period
Sunday) that need to be filled. I would really appreciate hearing
from you if you want to help out. Unlike Bonsor nights the games
are published for the convention so if you were not to say anything
and bring just a toss along game at that time finding a spare table
will be pure luck.
